Job Description: As the Fundraising Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our community-focused initiatives, vocational training programs, and bioinformatics research. Your responsibilities will include:

• Fundraising Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure grants, donations, and strategic partnerships that align with our mission.
• Donor Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, supporters, and philanthropic organizations, effectively communicating our goals and impact.
• Grant Writing: Prepare compelling grant proposals, applications, and reports, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and deadlines.
• Event Coordination: Organize fundraising events and campaigns, leveraging various channels to engage donors and communities.
• Budget Management: Oversee and manage fundraising budgets, ensuring funds are allocated efficiently to support programs and projects.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with the program team to understand project needs, priorities, and impact, aligning fundraising efforts accordingly.
• Reporting: Track and report on fundraising performance, providing regular updates to the organisations leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of successful fundraising for non-profit organisations, including securing grants and donations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling grant proposals and donor communications.
• Experience in grant writing and grant management, with a keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for building relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
• Commitment to the non-profit sector’s values and ethical fundraising practices.
• Knowledge of vocational training programs and bioinformatics is a plus.
